Year 5 Skeleton Workshop
Year 5 had an exciting outing to the Oxford University Museum of Natural History in Trinity. They enjoyed a workshop where they investigated the major types of animal skeleton: from hydrostatic skeletons of worms, to the exoskeletons of arthropods. They were able to look at many specimens and were challenged to guess the identity of some mystery animals by looking at features of their skeletons. The boys also completed a trail in the main hall of the museum which involved looking at the various displays and the vast array of skeletons from dinosaurs through to modern day specimens.
