Film Club
Throughout this year, often feeling heavy with the pandemic hanging over us, the film club has developed into a safe haven, helping us to forget the worries of the world with a little bit of screen escapism every Friday afternoon.
The big screen in the Hall rolls down, boys make and distribute the popcorn, the bean bags come out and we all hunker down for an hour of entertainment. As in past years, we have watched a range of films from the Indian flick I am Kalam, to old classics such as Singing in the Rain, to films about growing up and friendships: Holes and Sandlot Kids, alongside independent BFI short films.
