Before too long the boys became the proud temporary parents of five fluffy yellow ducklings. We spent the next week watching them grow and even watching them swim in a paddling pool. Aside from admiring how sweet they were, the ducklings also provided us with an opportunity to discuss adaptations and the characteristics of birds in classification!
