The boys all enjoyed singing the jazzy songs written for the Disney film, first shown in the 1950s, including The Bare Necessities and I Wanna Be Like You.

The Year 4 boys performed their lead and narrator parts with confidence and there were some impressive accents amongst the characters. Aloysius played the lead role with energy and humour whilst Olly was a joyous Baloo. Felix cut a most ‘cool’ figure as King Louis and Nicholas played the part of Shere Khan with a good hint of malevolence. Towards the end of the performance the four vultures (Emil, Thomas, Ben and Aaron) were hilarious when singing their ‘We’re Your Friends’ song.

The Year 3 boys supported well in their roles as marching elephants, playing wolves and dancing monkeys. All boys contributed with enthusiasm to the songs and danced to the final chorus with the full excitement of the jungle!
